We were honored to receive Ubaldini Marina, "The Doula Singer / The Singing Doula"
doula Marina and works with the voice and singing during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. Born in Argentina, grew up in Mexico and currently resides in San Francisco, California, where he trained as a doula and certified in music and song to heal. This workshop was aimed at pregnant women and their partners as well as mothers and fathers with young children explored their connection to the earth and each other through song and sound. The workshop explored relaxation techniques and breathing for pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum through play, song, dance, resonance, creativity, visualization and more, in a safe and fun environment. Experience the amazing effect of the voice resonating within the body and understood as the instrument we all possess can help us relax and be present in the here and now, not only in pregnancy but throughout our lives and our children. We use our breath, voice, sound, music and movement as a way to explore the connection we have with Mother Earth. Lullabies we sing holy, we find our own cooing, those coming from within to give us love and heal.
